Most frequent questions we are asked about taught classes:
1. What is the fee for taught courses?
We charge Indian Rupees 500 (~8 USD) per class for a one-on-one live class via Skype, Zoom etc... This cost includes individual learning plan and customised learning materials.
2. How is the course structured?
Since all our taught classes are one-on-one, each course is individually tailored to meet the student's requirements. You are free to schedule the classes at your convenience and you can progress at the pace comfortable to you. Most of our students schedule one or two class every week to keep the momentum. Your teacher will discuss your requirement with you and prepare a learning plan that takes you through your learning objectives.
3. Will you provide any course material?
Yes, depending on the nature of the course, you will receive PDF files relevant to your classes. We can also provide recordings of your classes if you request your teacher in advance.
4. How can I pay for the classes?
We accept payments through bank transfers. Currently we can not accept credit/debit cards. We will provide the account details when you register for the classes. You are required to pay in advance for your classes. Most students would pay for 10 classes in advance and make a payment again after those classes are conducted.
5. Who will teach me?
We have a team of Sanskrit scholars who specialize in particular languages of instruction and various aspects of Sanskrit Language. One of the teachers will be assigned to each student based on the language of instruction and your particular requirements for learning material and day/time preference.
6. Yes, I want to sign up for the course. What now?
That is great! If you want to sign up for a course, please drop a mail to me. Please indicate your particular requirements for learning (general sanskrit, reading and writing, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, linguistics, advanced topics, subhashita and shloka etc.) and your time and day preferences.
Please also indicate your time zone if you do not live in India. Once your request is received, one of the teachers will contact you and work with you to prepare your learning plan and begin the classes.
