Conversation - Ganesh and Sita

 

 

Conversations are easy way of grasping some new words while you are learning a new language. Here is simple conversation between Ganesh and Seeta. 

 

Seeta : Aren't you Ganesh? When Seeta wants to ask the same in Sanskrit, that goes like this: Seeta - bhavaan alexaha khalu? (सीता - भवान् गणेशः खलु?)

Ganesh: Yes. You are Sita. Aren't you? And if Ganesh wants the coneversation to be in Sanskrit he would ansewer like this: Ganesh: Satyam. Bhavatee Seeta vaa? (गणेशः - सत्यम्, भवती सीता वा?)

 

 

Seeta: Sure, I am. Where are you nowadays? Seeta: Aam! aham seeta eva. Bhavaan idaaneem kutra asti? (सीता - आम् अहं सीता एव।भवान् इदानिं कुत्र अस्ति।)

Ganesh: I am based in Bangalore now a days. Ganeshaha: aham idaaneem bengalooru nagare asmi. (गणेशः - अहम् इदानिं बेङ्गलूरु नगरे अस्मि।)

 

Seeta: What do you do for living there? Seeta: tatra kim kaaryam kurvan asti? (सीता - तत्र किं कार्यं कुर्वन् अस्ति?)

Ganesh: I am an administrator of an organization, over there. Ganesh: tatra aham ekasyaaha samsthaayaaha prashaasakaha asmi. (गणेशः - तत्र अहम् एकस्याः संस्थायाः प्रशासकः अस्मि।)

 

Ganesh: Seeta, what do you do now a days? Ganesh: seeta, bhavatee idaaneem kim kurvantee asti. (गणेशः - सीता, भवती इदानिं किं कुर्वन्ती अस्ति।)

Seeta: I am into a director job of an organization as well. Seeta: ahamapi ekasyaam samsthyaayaam nirdeshikaa roopena kaaryam kurvantee asmi. (सीता - अहमपि एकस्यां संस्थायां निर्देशिका रुपेण कार्यं कुर्वन्ती अस्मि।)

 

Ganesh: Everyone at your home are well, aren't they? Alex: bhavatyaaha grahe sarve kushalinaha vaa? (गणेशः - भवत्याः गृहे सर्वे कुशलिनः वा?)

Seeta: Hm, Everyone is fine. Seeta: aam, sarve kushalinaha santi. (सीता - आम्।सर्वे कुशलिनः सन्ति।)

 

Ganesh: See you again. Ganesh: punaha milaamaha. (पुनः मिलामः।)

Seeta: Alright then, see you again. Seeta: astu, punaha milaamaha. (अस्तु, पुनः मिलामः।)
